General Surplus

The District disposes of obsolete or surplus items in a variety of methods.  The District typically transfers all surplus items such as student desks, maps, globes, misc. classroom equipment, etc to the General Administration State Surplus site in Auburn. The GA then handles the sale and distribution of items to other state agencies and the general public.

Surplus Vehicles, Library Books and Textbooks

When the District has surplus vehicles, library books and textbooks available, the Board of Directions will typically issue a call for sealed bids by advertising on this website and in the Everett Herald.

Students wishing to purchase textbooks shall have priority as to such texts.  Please notify Lori Banas either by email at lori.banas@sno.wednet.edu or by phone at 360.563.7242 if you are a student wishing to purchase textbooks.

Grants of Surplus Property

If you are another federal, state, or local government entity, the District may grant any of the above surplus property, provided that the property be used for preschool through twelfth grade educational purposes. Please contact Lori Banas by email at lori.banas@sno.wednet.edu if you are interested in or wish to by notified of the availability of surplus property.
