SHS
The SHS program serves approximately 50 students per semester who are looking for a temporary place to complete credits for the current semester. Students are referred to Re-Entry after being dropped form SHS for attendance or behavioral problems, if they have entered the school district too late to be able to easily match their schedule to the high school, if they have a court order for attendance and were not enrolled anywhere else, or if there are extenuating circumstances (such as health issues) which prevent them from being successful in the regular program. Students attend two afternoons a week and work on two classes at a time; based on recommendations from their high school counselor. They can remain in the Sno-Isle Skills Center Program if they were already enrolled. On a case by case evaluation, students may also remain enrolled in one or more classes at SHS while attending Re-Entry for the remainder of the classes. Re-Entry also offers an option of helping a student study for a GED s part of their curriculum until they feel ready to be released for the test. Students sometimes use this experience to determine if they are ready to re-enter SHS or if they prefer to apply to AIM High School, or work on their GED. SHS Re-Entry is housed in the transition Center next to SHS tennis courts on 5th street and meets two days a week from 3:00 to 5:30
SFC
This Re-Entry program is housed at the Freshman Campus and serves approximately 30 students who have not found success in traditional programs. The entrance requirements are the same as for SHS Re-Entry. Students attend Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 5:30 pm and work on the four required 9th grade classes, with a goal to return to SFC or apply to AIM High School
