Assessment
The Snohomish School District is making changes in the assessment system as new standards for student achievement are set by the Commission on Student Learning. During the Spring of 2002, the Snohomish School District introduced levels tests for the first time. These assessments are short, targeted tests which help to measure student progress from year to year. They help to focus additional help to those students who may be lagging in certain areas and complement state reform efforts including the WASL test.
Our district team received an award of excellence from the Washington State Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development for the work we have done in this area!
