System Requirements

The Apex Learning System Check-Up can examine your computer configuration and help install plug-in software. Please visit: http://www.apexlearning.com/systemcheckup and run the System Check-Up before accessing.

Hardware Needed:
PC:
Operating System - Windows XP

Macintosh:
Operating System - Mac OS X v10.4
 

Both PCs and Macs:


Internet - Internet Connection (Broadband preferred)
Audio - Sound card and speakers or headphones (Microphone required for foreign language courses)
Display - Support for 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, Support for 256-bit color
Other Hardware - Access to printer, Access to a fax machine (Online courses Only)

 

Software Needed:
PC:
Web Browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, Firefox 1.5 (Java Script, Cookies and Pop-Ups must be enabled).

Macintosh:
Web Browser - Safari 2.0, Firefox 1.5
(Java Script, Cookies and Pop-Ups must be enabled).



Both PCs and Macs:


Browser Plug-Ins - Current Java Plug-In Installed (version 1.5), Adobe® Acrobat® Reader 7.0, Macromedia® Flash™ Player 8.0
