General Information

PROGRAMS and TIMES VARY, PLEASE CHECK THE PROGRAM SCHEDULE GRID FOR SWIMMING TIMES.

Accessibility:
Hal Moe Pool is accessible to all persons.  A special chair-style lift is available to assist with entry and exit. Special stairs with railings are available for those who prefer.

Obey the lifeguards:
Failure to obey the lifeguards will result in removal from the pool facility as provided by Washington State Law.  If you hear a whistle, stop and pay attention.  There is an emergency in progress and you will be expected to follow the commands given by lifeguards and pool management.  You may be asked to clear the pool area and go to the locker rooms.

Children under four and non-swimmers:
All children under four and children who cannot swim must be accompanied by an adult (18 years and older) who is in the water with them and within arms reach at all times.  One adult is required for every two children under four or non-swimmers.  This policy includes the wading pool

A responsible adult must remain in the building spectator area for all children under the age of 8.

Boys and girls age 6 and older must dress in their respective locker areas.  No exceptions.

Approved swim diapers with a non-leak cover (such as elastic legged plastic pants) must be worn by non-potty trained children or those people who have incontinence issues.

Special Infant Pricing:  $1.50 for Snohomish School District residents, $2.00 for non-district residents.

Showers:
A cleansing shower is required of all patrons immediately prior to entering the water by Washington State law and county health code.  Failure to obey will result in removal from the building.  You must look like you have been swimming already before you enter the pools.

Lockers:
The Snohomish School District and the pool staff  is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Please secure your belongings! Padlock style lockers are available for your use. The pool does not provide padlocks, but we do have them for sale ($6.00). Please remember to remove your lock at the end of your visit. Locks left on lockers will be cut on a nightly basis.

Complete Pro Shop:
The pool sells many items that you may need for your swim. And if we don’t have it in stock, we can order it for you for arrival--usually within a few days. Just ask us at the front desk and we’ll give you the help and technical advice that you need for all of your swimming equipment and attire needs. We regularly carry locks, towels, goggles, swim caps, chlorine removing shampoo and conditioner, ear plugs, anti-fog drops, and nose plugs.

Parking:
Please do not park in the lots of surrounding businesses; your car may be towed. Pool parking is available in the pool lot, the Averill Park lot, and along Third Street (pool side) and Pine Streets.
