The US Postmaster will not accept Purchase Orders, therefore you will need to purchase them with your P-Card or a check. You may also purchase them through Accounting
You may use your P-Card to pick up stamps at your nearest Post Office or purchase online at www.usps.gov.
Each time you need stamps, send a requisition made out to the US Postmaster to Accounting for the stamps you need (for example, 10 rolls of $.39 stamps). A check will be sent to you and you can visit your local post office to pick up postage.
Send a requisition made out to US Postmaster to Accounting for an “amount not to exceed”. You can call Ext. 7242 or email Lori Banas whenever you need stamps.
The US Postal Service does not accept Purchase Orders, so you will need to purchase stamped envelopes with return address them using your P-Card or a check. Either way, allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.
You may order stamped envelopes online at www.usps.gov. Click on “Buys Stamps and Shop” then choose “Mailing / Shipping” and “Pre-Paid Envelopes”.
Send a handwritten requisition made out to US Postal Service to Accounting, along with the order form (can be picked up at your local post office or downloaded at: http://www.usps.com/forms/orderforms.htm). Accounting will mail the required pre-payment and your completed form to the US Postal Service.
