Bond Proposal
The 2008 bond proposal was developed by a large, representative citizens committee, and will fund Phase Two of a well--researched, comprehensive 15-year facilities plan.
Voters approved the $261.6 million bond on May 20, 2008, to finance the completion of Snohomish High School renovation, to renovate and expand Valley View Middle School, to expand Centennial Middle School, to replace Machias and Riverview Elementary Schools, to build a new aquatic center, to make district-wide capital improvements, and acquire classroom technology to improve student learning.
