June 2010 Update
Cathcart and Cascade View Elementary Schools: Final closeout process for Cope Construction is complete. The board approved final acceptance at their June 2 meeting.
Totem Falls and Seattle Hill Elementary Schools: Punch list items are complete.
Emerson and Dutch Hill Elementary Schools: Cable installation and electrical panel installation continue. Substantial completion date is June 18th.
May 2010 Update
Cathcart and Cascade View Elementary Schools: Final closeout process for Cope Construction is complete. Final acceptance will be presented to the Board for approval in June.
Totem Falls Elementary: Punch list items continue. Smartboards are up and running.
Seattle Hill Elementary: Construction for the computer lab is complete. Punch list items continue.
Emerson Elementary: Raceway rough-in is complete. Cable installation continues.
April 2010 Update
Cathcart and Cascade View Elementary Schools: Final closeout process for Cope Construction continues.
Totem Falls Elementary: Smartboard installation was completed, and punch list work is underway.
Seattle Hill Elementary: Smartboard installation continues. Testing and commissioning continue.
Emerson Elementary: Electrical crews began work this week as scheduled.
March 2010 Update
Final punch list items are complete for Cathcart and Cascade View Elementary Schools. Installation of wire molding is almost complete at Totem Falls Elementary, and corridor rough-in continues. At Seattle Hill Elementary, the access panel installation is complete and electrical raceway installation is complete in rooms P1 through P6.
January 2010 Update
New technology has been installed at Central, Cascade View, and Cathcart, and the contract has been awarded for infrastructure for the next four schools, with projects phased out over the next few months.
December 2009 Update
Technology staff held two one-week sessions of an Institute of Technology for staff last summer. Central Primary's technology was installed and staff were trained over the summer.Cascade View's installation has been completed, and Cathcart's will be finished by the end of the year.
