Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year begins on Monday, March 26, at the district's elementary schools. The district's kindergarten program includes a strong emphasis on the development of academic skills. In addition, we provide children with the opportunity to explore, discover and experience the joy of learning.
Full-day kindergarten - The full-day kindergarten program is optional and provided on a limited, space-available basis. The core curriculum is the same as in our half-day kindergarten program. However, there is additional time for extension and enrichment activities. Students will attend class Monday through Friday according to the district's schedule.
The fee for the 2012-2013 school year will be $2,850. Several payment options are available to families. A $200 advance deposit and a completed registration packet must be received at the school no later than Tuesday, May 15, to hold the student’s place in the class. (Note: A full $200 refund will be given to those families whose children we are unable to accommodate into a full-time program due to class-size requirements.)
Half-day kindergarten – The half-day kindergarten program offers the same core curriculum as the full-day program. However, there is less time for extension and enrichment activities throughout the week. Students will attend class every Monday through Thursday in the morning or the afternoon. Kindergarten students attend class every other Friday depending on the district's schedule.
There is no fee for the half-day kindergarten program.
