Mark your calendar for the annual Snohomish Education Foundation (SEF) Auction on Saturday, October 15. This year’s event will be held at the Tulalip Resort Casino in Marysville. The silent auction begins at 6 p.m., and the live auction/dinner begins at 8 p.m. The event is $65/person or $130/couple. Monies raised at this annual event support educational opportunities for students and teachers of our district. Since 1995, the Snohomish Education Foundation has awarded more than $268,000 in classroom grants and has helped fund other critical district programs, such as Career and Technical Education classes and all-day kindergarten. Since 1990, the SEF has also awarded about 1,245 Snohomish School District graduates more than $813,000 in scholarships.
