Valley View Middle School receives 2011 School of Distinction Award

Valley View Middle School was one of 99 Washington schools recently recognized for its “outstanding improvement in student achievement” and was named a recipient of the 2011 School of Distinction Award. A special award presentation event was held Wednesday, November 30, at at Valley View Middle School.

 

The 2011 School of Distinction Award is awarded by The Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE), the Association of Educational Service Districts (AESD), the Association of Washington School Principals (AWSP), Phi Delta Kappa-Washington Chapter (PDK-WA), Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA), Washington State ASCD and Washington State School Directors’ Association (WSSDA). The 2011 School of Distinction award winners include 53 elementary schools, 22 middle/junior high schools, 17 high schools and 7 alternative schools.
