Just One More Dollar – When the ASB class did their final tally for the Holiday Canned Food Drive, they found that they were one dollar (or 4 cans) short of 10,000 cans. The call went out school-wide to see if anyone would be willing to donate the final dollar. What resulted was an immediate stampede of students who wanted to make the difference. The final result: GPHS surpassed their goal. The final total equaled 10,958 items, resulting in $1435.45 and 5218 items for the Maltby Food Bank.

Tree of Giving – The National Honor Society (NHS) joined with DECA to organize the
Tree of Giving Toy Drive, and collected over 390 toys from students and staff at our school for distribution throughout our community to those in need. NHS students also helped wrap gifts at the Maltby Food Bank and at the Mill Creek Town Center, in exchange for donations to the Maltby Food Bank. Over $450 was received.
