2011-2012 secondary school start-up information

Centennial Middle School

The Centennial Middle School student start-up event, which is an opportunity to pay ASB and athletic fees, buy yearbooks, get Skyward student records access, sign up for fall sports, and more will be held on Thursday, August 25, at Snohomish High School. Please note that due to school construction, Centennial’s start-up will be located at Snohomish High School, not Centennial. Please park in the staff and student parking lots off of 7th Street and enter the campus from the north side as some areas of the Snohomish High School campus (from 5th Street) are closed due to construction. Signs on the Promenade will direct you to the Commons/Cafeteria.

Start-up times are:

Thursday, August 25

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – 8th graders
1 – 3 p.m. – 7th graders
5 – 7 p.m. – Any student

If you are a new student or have not completed a Centennial student registration packet, packets are available at the Resource and Service Center (RSC), 1601 Avenue D in Snohomish. Packets are located at the front desk, and completed packets may be returned there and will be forwarded to the Centennial registrar.

Up until school starts on Sept. 7, you can also reach the school office by telephone at 360-563-4525. The office is open until 3:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 1:15 p.m. on Friday.

Valley View Middle School

The Valley View Middle School student start-up event, which is an opportunity to pay ASB and athletic fees, buy yearbooks, get Skyward student records access, sign up for fall sports, and more will be held on Wednesday, August 24, and Thursday, August 25, at Valley View Middle School. Please remember that due to school construction, Valley View Middle School is located at the Maple Avenue Campus - 601 Glen Avenue in Snohomish - for the 2011-2012 school year.

Wednesday, August 24

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - 8th graders

Thursday, August 25

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - 7th graders
4 -7 p.m. - Any student

Tuesday, September 6

1-4 p.m. - Student schedules available for pick-up

Glacier Peak High School

Tuesday, August 23 - Student Start-up – Seniors, Juniors and Open Session

8 - 9:30 a.m. - Seniors and juniors (born January-June)
10 - 11:30 a.m. - Seniors and juniors (born July-December)
12:30 - 1:30 p.m. - Open session for all students

Wednesday, August 24 - Student Start-up – Sophomores, Freshmen and Open Session

Noon - 1:30 p.m. - Sophomores and freshman (born January-June)
2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Sophomores and freshman (born July-December)
4:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Open session for all students

Snohomish High School
