Louis Boggeri from Snohomish High School, and Tami Caraballo and Bryan Mossburg from Glacier Peak High School, were selected to present at the National Educators Workshop (NEW) at North Carolina A&T last week. Boggeri presented a session on Biology, Forensics & Integrated Science. Mossburg and Caraballo’s workshop featured Applied Biotechnology & CAD (Computer-Assisted Design).
NEW strives to provide current science and technology information focused on materials science, engineering, and technology education. The theme for this year’s workshop was exploring the synergy between structural and human health monitoring.
Mossburg comments, “It was a great chance to do networking and to see what people are doing around the country.”
Their travel expenses were sponsored by the Center of Excellence for Advanced Materials Manufacturing in Washington State.
