2011-2012 free and reduced meal applications

  • In the mail - Each student household in the Snohomish School District will receive a 2011-2012 Free and Reduced Meal Application in the mail during the fourth week of August. Only one application needs to be completed per household. Households with foster children should fill out one form per foster child.
  • On the Web - The application can be found on the district Web site. Click here to download the English version. Click here to download the Spanish version. Print the appropriate application, complete it and return to your child's school. The completed forms may also be mailed to Snohomish School District, Attn: Sharon Jantz, 1601 Avenue D, Snohomish, WA 98290
  • At your school or District office - Hard copies will be available at your child's school or the district office after Monday, Aug. 22. 

Washington Connection

Washington Connection makes it easier for low-income families and individuals to apply for and access a variety of vital services and benefits that help them achieve self-sufficiency and move out of poverty.

 

Through Washington Connection, residents can easily and securely learn about and apply for a broad array of programs and services online: food, cash, and medical assistance; child care subsidies; long-term care services and support; and drug and alcohol treatment. Click here to learn more.

 

For services that require different application processes, the portal provides contact information and links about where people can apply for those services, such as WIC Nutrition Program, Housing Assistance, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, Tribal TANF, Basic Health, assistance for Veterans, Child Support, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Supplement Security Income.

Snohomish Community Food Bank

The Snohomish Community Food Bank is open for grocery pick-up two days each week - Tuesdays 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. or Fridays 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

 

Requirement: Residency in the Snohomish School District

 

Bring with you: Valid WA state driver’s license or ID and one current bill with your address (PUD, PSE, cable, telephone, City of Snohomish, rental receipt, medical coupon).
