Equivalency Courses

APPROVED EQUIVALENCY CREDIT LIST FOR SNOHOMISH SCHOOL DISTRICT

Most graduation course requirements must be met by successfully completing specified courses; however, some requirements may be met by successfully completing equivalency courses.

Important points to remember:

1.     An equivalency course may satisfy more than one graduation requirement.

2.     No course shall be worth more than the credit it has been assigned. For instance, a semester course which is .5 credits may not be worth more than .5 credits, a 1.0 credit course may be worth no more than 1.0 credit, etc.

3.     Equivalencies may not satisfy college admission requirements. Please check with the individual colleges for clarification.

4.     Students wishing to use an equivalency will need check with their counselor while registering
