To Apply for Positions

We accept applications for substitute bus drivers when the position is posted.  Please check the list of current openings to see if the position is open at this time.

All applicants will need to complete a classified application for the current school year by applying through the on-line program. Once you've established a current application for the school year, apply for the position you are interested in by clicking on the "Open Jobs" section in your on-line application, and then clicking on the "Apply" link next to the title of the position you want to apply for. All portions of the application must be completed.

Bus Driver Application Requirements

Applications are accepted for posted positions only. View a job posting list.

We will establish an active application for you when the following are received:

1. A completed Classified Application.  Please apply through the on-line program.
2. A general letter of interest that lists your general qualifications, skills and abilities.
3. A current resume which includes 3 references.
4. A 5-Year School Bus Driver Abstract.  (important to ask specifically for this)
5. The Bus Driver Supplemental Form which is available below and through the on-line program in the "inserts" tab.
6. Two letters of recommendation (one from your current or most recent employer) are required.  If professional letters are not available, then two personal letters of recommendation are required.
7. Form 486 Applicant Disclosure Form, required by law.
8. Pre-Employment Character and Fitness Supplement Form.
9. Two Confidential Reference Forms are required.  They must be references in a professional capacity.
10. The completed "Bus Driver Supplemental Packet".
