Welcome to Little Cedars Elementary School! Our school is located on the south end of the school distinct across the street from Glacier Peak High School. We offer a comprehensive academic program geared toward meeting the needs of each individual student as we help them assume responsibility for their role in the learning process. Emphasis is placed upon the acquisition of skills and abilities which will enable each student to become a successful member of society in a rapidly changing world.
It is our purpose at Little Cedars Elementary School to create a student-centered learning community that welcomes everyone as we educate students to live in a democracy. We believe that this includes helping students see themselves as a part of something bigger than just our school building. We continually strive to fulfill the following commitments to our families:

- Serve students as a collaborative team, sharing common language, methods, and expectations
Our dedicated staff serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. A variety of excellent supplemental instructional programs, including Special Education, Speech and Language support, Occupational and Physical Therapy and the Highly Capable classroom, help meet a broad range of student needs in a very successful manner. In addition, all students participate in a program of regular instruction by skilled educators in physical education, music and library skills. Our sixth grade students have the opportunity to participate in a before school band program.
