Annual Coach Armstrong Memorial Golf Tournament

Where?   Snohomish Public Golf Course, 7806 147th Avenue SE, Snohomish


When?   Friday, August 12, 2011

  • 10 a.m. – Registration, putting qualifications, loosen-up time w/ a bucket of balls
  • 11:30 p.m. – Lunch
  • 12:15 p.m. – Putting finals and final “Putt for the Prize”
  • 1 p.m. – Hit Away!
  • 6 p.m. – Social time
  • 6:30 p.m. – Remarks w/ Rick Fenney, Chris Utt, and Rory Rosenbach, raffle and PRIZES

How much?   $100 (Includes: Green Fees, Cart, Beverages, and lunchtime Barbeque)
Bonus! This year you can play and eat for $90 if you pre-pay by August 1, 2011. Additional lunch-only tickets can be purchased for $15.

 

Participants in the Annual Coach Armstrong Golf Tournament have helped raise more than $70,000 to create the life-size statue of Coach Armstrong now in place at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Snohomish High School and establish a perpetual memorial scholarship for Snohomish graduates in Coach Armstrong’s memory.


Every year from now on - primarily with proceeds from the annual golf tournament—a young woman and young man graduating from Snohomish or Glacier Peak will receive scholarships in Coach’s memory. These are Snohomish School District graduates who Coach Armstrong would have loved - and they’re kids who might otherwise not go to college without these scholarships.
