Dutch Hill Elementary provides a comprehensive K-6 academic program designed to meet the individual needs of students. This program includes a variety of teaching and learning configurations, including single grade, combination grade and academically capable class-rooms. The teachers are supported by a librarian, physical education, music and art specialists. Resource Room, Learning Assistance Program, reading and counseling support is available to specifically identified student populations. Using a Site Plan based on the district's Strategic Plan and developed by the Dutch Hill Site Planning Team and Goals Groups, we worked to meet the needs of students. Our goals focus on teaching the essential academic learnings and helping our students increase achievement on the newly implemented state assessments.
