Spring Blood Drive
Description
Supplies are low, demand is high, and they’ve called on us again for our support. Our generous community and successful drives have helped BloodWorks NW to maintain a stable supply for emergencies. Join us at our spring blood drive - all blood types are needed!
- Date - Friday, May 5
- Time - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Place - Mobile bus at the Resource and Service Center (1601 Avenue D in Snohomish)
- Closed for lunch from noon-12:45 p.m.
There are 40 openings for people to sign up to donate in the mobile bus at the Resource and Service Center. We share this opportunity with our staff, students and community – so please pass the word along. Appointments begin at 10 a.m. and run every 5 and 10 minutes until 3:40 p.m. (Closed noon-12:45 p.m. for lunch.)

Did you know?
- Each person’s donated unit of blood assists up to three people.
- More than 900 people need to donate blood every day just in Western Washington to supply the 70+ hospitals and clinics in our area.
FAQs
- If a donor is on antibiotics, he/she must wait seven days after last dose.
- On allergy or blood pressure medication, you’re ok to donate!
- If your diabetes is controlled, you’re ok to donate.
- Get a tattoo at a licensed facility in Washington, you’re ok to donate.
- Individuals over the age of16 may donate with parent/guardian permission slip.
- Actual donation takes 7-10 minutes, but plan on one hour for paperwork and donation process.
- Bring your ID.
