Science & Arts Academy Information
Inspire the mind and heart through the school district’s Science & Arts Academy! Amazing Race: Snohomish Edition! Sweet Sugar Science. Video Animation. World Music. Aeronautical Engineering. Reader's Theater. Floral Design. Babysitting Essentials. These are just some of the many exciting topics students entering grades 1 through 9 may investigate through the district’s summer program. This year’s Science & Arts Academy will run July 2 through July 26 at Snohomish High School (1315 Fifth Street in Snohomish).

Middle school and high school sexual health education curriculum materials available for public review
Community members are invited to review middle school and high school sexual health education materials being considered for adoption. To review the materials, visit the district's Teaching and Learning Services Department at the Resource and Service Center (1601 Avenue D in Snohomish) between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on March 19 to March 30. There is also a community forum on Wednesday, March 21, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the district office to provide you with another opportunity to review the materials, hear about the standards that will be taught, and ask questions. Spring Preview Night
Spring Preview Night will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15. This event is for our incoming 7th grade students and their parents. If you are the parent of a 6th grade special education student, please plan to attend a special event at 5:30 p.m. in the Centennial Middle School library. This special event will help students and parents with the transition from elementary school to middle school. Families will begin the evening with a meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the library, then you will proceed to the gym at 6:30 p.m. for the evening event.
