  • Middle school and high school sexual health education curriculum materials available for public review

    Community members are invited to review middle school and high school sexual health education materials being considered for adoption. To review the materials, visit the district's Teaching and Learning Services Department at the Resource and Service Center (1601 Avenue D in Snohomish) between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on March 19 to March 30. There is also a community forum on Wednesday, March 21, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the district office to provide you with another opportunity to review the materials, hear about the standards that will be taught, and ask questions.   • Spring sports/track information

    Sign-ups for track are located outside of the main office on the athletics table. Before a student may try out for a sport they must have a current physical on file and paperwork must be completed online through Rank One Sports.


    Interest meeting

    • An informational meeting for students will be held during the last 10 minutes of both lunches in the Viking Hall on Monday, March 19.


    First day of practice - Monday, March 26

    • Athletes should meet in the gym at approximately 2:20 p.m.. Practices will run Monday through Thursday from 2:20-3:45 p.m. Please be prompt in picking up athletes. Athletes should bring shoes that they can run in, along with water. Please come dressed in sweats and a sweatshirt/jacket. Dress in layers. It is also strongly recommended that students have warm/cold/wet weather gear always stored in their locker.  That way they can be prepared for any kind of weather that is thrown at them, spring in the northwest can be unpredictable.

  • Spring Conferences - March 28 and 29

    Conferences will be held in the Valley View commons, the format is open house, so appointments are not necessary. The hours are:

    • March 28 from 4-7 p.m.
    • March 29 from 7:15-11:30 a.m. and from 2-5:30 p.m.

  • Seventh Grade Orientation Thursday, March 15 at 7 p.m.

    All grade 6 students and their parents are invited to the Valley Middle School Orientation at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 15 in the Valley View Middle School gym. Please join us for a brief Power Point presentation about the classes, courses, opportunities, and programs offered at Valley View, followed by a self-guided tour of our school from 7:40-8:30 p.m. We will have several classrooms open for you to visit and teachers available for you to talk to as well. We look forward to seeing you at Valley View!
