  • 4/5/6 Elementary Highly Capable Program information

    Interested Snohomish School District students who will be in the 4th through 6th grade next year are encouraged to apply and learn more about the district’s 4/5/6 Elementary Highly Capable Program. If interested, the below dates and information are important. Students currently enrolled in the 4/5/6 Elementary Highly Capable Program do not need to complete the referral process.

    • Friday, December 13 - Referral packets for the 4/5/6 Elementary Highly Capable Program will be available at all elementary schools, online and at the Snohomish School District Resource and Service Center (1601 Avenue D in Snohomish). Referral packets can be downloaded from the district website at sno.wednet.edu/highlycapablehonors.
    • Thursday, January 9 – An information night will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Snohomish School District Resource and Service Center (1601 Avenue D in Snohomish) for parents/guardians of students who are interested in the 4/5/6 Elementary Highly Capable Program.
    • Friday, January 24 - Completed referral packet deadline. Completed packets can be turned in at student home schools or the Snohomish School District Resource and Service Center (1601 Avenue D in Snohomish).

    Capital Bond - February 11, 2020
    Snohomish School District is asking voters to consider a $470 million school funding measure in the February 2020 election to rebuild aging elementary schools, reduce the need for portable classrooms and make sure our school buildings continue to be a source of pride for our community. These projects will ensure our students have access to safe, quality school buildings and programs throughout our district, which serves about 9,800 students.
