Community Engagement
-
In the spring 2017, the Snohomish School District gathered community input through an online conversation tool called ThoughtExchange. Nearly 1,400 took the time to weigh in and share their thoughts with us. In addition, hundreds more attended in-person community conversation meetings where we talked about the early results from the ThoughtExchange tool. This included about 195 parents and staff and more than 225 middle and high school students. They told us what education looks like in our community when we're at our best. They shared their concerns. They talked about what they want for students in the future.
Below are some links to some important findings from the online tool and in-person meetings:
- A link to our ThoughtExchange results website.
- A report from ThoughtExchange with more detailed insights gathered from that part of our process.
- A report which provides a comprehensive review of what was gleaned through both ThoughtExchange and the series of in-person conversations.
