Updated 2020-2021 Tentative Sport Season Start Dates
A start date for middle school sports has not been determined. Member schools in the North County Middle School League will continue conversations about middle school sports as school reopening plans are announced, but the start of middle school sports has been delayed at this time.
Please continue checking the our school website website and school newsletters for current information about middle school sports.
Students planning on turning out for a sport need to have a sports physical completed by a physician before participating in any sports tryout or practice. All athletes must complete/update online forms through Rank One for the current school year prior to tryouts/practice. All athletes must complete/update online forms through the Rank One Sport website prior to tryouts/practice.
Forms can be found on the Rank One Sport website. Please note that the electronic forms on RankOne Sport need to be completed for your athlete each year. Physicals are now valid for 24 months provided they do not expire during the sports season. Current sports physical paperwork must be turned in to the Valley View Middle School Main Office in person to complete the process.
Athletes must purchase an ASB card, pay the athletic participation fee and have current medical insurance.
If an athlete will be picked up from a game/meet and will not be riding the bus back to Valley View Middle School you must check out with the coach at the event. If you will be transporting another child, that parent must supply the coach with a note allowing you to transport their child.
Athletes must ride to an event with the team on the bus. Exceptions can only be approved by the Principal or either Vice Principal. No bus transportation is provided back to Valley View Middle School for in-district meets/games. Students must be picked up at the event site (ie: meets/games at Snohomish High School, Glacier Peak High School, Bailey Farms or Centennial Middle School).
