    2021 Fall SBA Summative Assessments

    The fall SBA ELA/Math and WCAS Science assessments will be administered this fall for 9th, 11th, and 12th graders.
    Monday, October 18, 2021 we will have an Extended Grizzly period. Students will need to bring your personal device or your school district issued laptop. We will be taking a few different surveys as well as downloading the secure browser in preparation for the SBA.

    Healthy Youth Survey

    Glacier Peak students will participate in the Healthy Youth Survey on October 22, 2021 during History classes. The survey asks questions about risks for injury, health outcomes, and alcohol and drug use.

    Secondary sexual health family presentations scheduled

    Human growth and development will be taught each year during 5-6th grade and sexual health will be taught in 7-9th grade. Families are invited to attend a presentation to learn about the health standards, activities and resources that will be used to teach each of the topics, and the opt-out process.

    Counselors will be presenting all things senior year including applications, financial aid and scholarships on the dates below. Attending these presentations help you meet your high school and beyond graduation requirement. There will also be a webinar for parents covering the same topics and a workshop to complete the FAFSA in the Commons at GP.

    Glacier Peak High School is going to add a third lunch (A,B,C) lunches in an effort to encourage smaller lunch sizes and social distancing. This impacts the bell schedule for the rest of the year and starts on Monday, September 27, 2021.

    Mask up at outdoor events!

    Per Governor Inslee’s mandate, face coverings/masks are now required for outdoor events with 500 or more people, regardless of vaccination status. Please remember this when attending outdoor school district athletic events, as this new mandate will be strictly enforced for all those attending.
