  • Senior Information, Scholarships and Financial Aid

    Counselors will be presenting all things senior year including applications, financial aid and scholarships on the dates below. Attending these presentations help you meet your high school and beyond graduation requirement. There will also be a webinar for parents covering the same topics and a workshop to complete the FAFSA in the Commons at GP.

    October 1: Counselor presentations during senior government classes

    October 5: Junior/Senior parent night webinar (senior year 101, financial aid, scholarships) 6:30 p.m.

    October 8: Counselor presentations during senior government classes

    October 12: FAFSA completion workshop in the Commons from 5-7 p.m.  Review the items you will need to bring with you to complete the FAFSA. Please RSVP to this in person event.

  • WSU Regents Scholarship            

    Seniors with a 3.6 GPA or higher that plan to attend WSU next school year you may be eligible for the Regents Scholar Award.  If you would like to be considered for the Regents Scholar Award please complete this form. The deadline to submit the request for nomination is September 30, at 5 p.m.  For complete award and eligibility requirements please see the WSU Regents Scholar page.

  • Upcoming College Visits

    Please see the 2021-22 college visits page for upcoming visits scheduled at GPHS. Check back frequently. Visits are both virtual and in person. In person visits will take place in the College and Career Center. Students that wish to attend a virtual visit may come to the career center to sign in on their device.

    Hundreds of colleges and universities from the US and worldwide will be ready and waiting to talk with you at these upcoming NACAC Virtual College Fairs:

    • Tuesday,  28: Northeastern US Fair: 1-5 p.m.
    • Sunday,  3: Signature Fair: 10 a.m-3 p.m.
    • Thursday,  14: Midwest US Fair: 4-6 p.m
    • Sunday,  24: Signature Fair: 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
    • Tuesday,  2: Arts & STEM Fair: 1-5 p.m.
    • Sunday,  14: Signature Fair: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

    Don't miss these free, one-day events for high school students, transfer students, and families. Go to virtualcollegefairs.org to see the list of participating colleges. Then log in on any fair date to attend Zoom sessions, text your questions, and demonstrate interest... all without leaving home. It's a great way to connect with hundreds of colleges in a short amount of time to learn about majors, scholarships, and more.
