December (entire month)
Most Washington state four-year colleges will start processing student applications at this time, if not earlier. Teacher/student schedule senior project presentations. Counselors will send a School Messenger call to discuss local scholarship notebooks. Please visit the Career Center with questions.
October (entire month)
Financial aid forms (FAFSA) should be forwarded to college scholarship services as soon as possible after October 1. Forms are available in the Career Center. Teacher/student schedule senior project presentations.
February (entire month)
Applications for admission to two-year colleges may be submitted.
Dads & Desserts
Dads and Desserts is March 24 at 1:30 p.m. in the SHS commons. It is an afternoon for seniors and their father figures to celebrate the upcoming graduation. There will be desserts, activities, and a guest speaker. Entry fee is sold at the bookkeeping office prior to the event or day of the event. For both dad and soon-to-be grad it is $15 w/asb, $20 w/o. If you have a favorite photo of you and your dad, please email email@example.com so it can be in the slideshow.
Senior cap and gown distribution. More information will come for each students specific time.
Department Scholars Night at 6:30pm
Senior Mother Tea
Please join us Friday, May 12 at 1:30p.m. for the Senior Mother's Tea in the SHS commons. It is an afternoon for seniors and their mother figures to celebrate their upcoming graduation. There will be tea and cake and a guest speaker. Tickets are on sale at the bookkeeping office before and after school and during lunch. Ticket prices are $15 w/ASB card, $18 w/out ASB card and $20 on May 12 (day of event).

Groups of photos are best, and photos will be limited to 2-4 photos of each senior.
Please have all photos emailed by May 19 to give time to put slideshow together.

Baccalaureate: June 11 at 4 p.m. in the PAC
What is Baccalaureate? A non-denominational Christian celebration for our seniors.
Seniors are to wear their graduation gowns and report to the PAC at 3:30 for a quick run though before the program begins.
- We will have a few inspirational speakers from the community
- We will have a senior student speakers
- We will have a group project at the event that is always a highlight
- All are invited to attend
Graduation 4:00pm at Angel of the Winds Arena - Graduates at arena by 3 p.m. Admission by ticket only.
Senior All Night Party will leave at 10:00pm from SHS
