Purchasing, which is a component of Business Services, provides contracts for supplies and services within the state and district guidelines. Purchasing prepares requests for bids (RFB), requests for proposals (RFP) and requests for quotes (RFQ) for supplies, services and equipment throughout the Snohomish School District.

Purchasing also disposes of surplus items received throughout the district. Items may only be surplused after Board of Director action in accordance with district policy. Individual departments purchase supplies, services and equipment at competitive prices from a wide range of established contacts and vendors.
