What is it?
Grizzly Cubs is a fun mentoring program between Glacier Peak High School students and 4th through 6th graders from the elementary schools that feed into Glacier Peak High School:

• Cathcart Elementary
• Little Cedars Elementary
• Seattle Hill Elementary
• Totem Falls Elementary

This club provides a great opportunity for elementary students to have a high schooler to talk to, look up to and build a great relationship with. Elementary students (grades 4-6) will have planned activities once a month with their High School Grizzly. 

Here are some of the fun things we may be doing this year:

• Corn maze
• Ice skating
• Putt putt golf
• Bowling
• Writing letters to soldiers/veterans
• Movies

Although there is only one scheduled activity per month, regular appropriate communication between the high school Grizzly and the Grizzly Cub  is encouraged but not required. This communication can be through phone calls, text, Zoom, attending each other's games/events, meetings for ice cream etc. These outside conversations should/will be monitored by parents/guardians of both the high school Grizzlies and the Grizzly Cubs, not the club advisor or Snohomish School District.

How do I sign up?

Registration will be open from August 28, 2023-September 28, 2023. Grizzly Cub registration forms and $45 payment are available online. Registration fee pays for entrance to all Grizzly Cubs events and a Grizzly Cub t-shirt. Registration forms and fee must be completed by Thursday, September 28, 2023.

Scholarships are available for those in need. Please email the Grizzly Cubs advisor if financial assistance is needed.

When do I find out who is matched with my Grizzly Cub?
You will find out and be notified as to who your high school Grizzly is along with their contact information, in mid-October.
