    2023 state test scores available

    This spring, Washington public school students in grades 3-8 and 10 took the Smarter Balanced or the Washington Access to Instruction & Measurement (WA-AIM) English language arts (ELA) and math tests. Students in grades 5, 8 and 11 also took the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science or WA-AIM science. Your student’s results from the spring 2023 state tests are posted in your Skyward/Family Access portfolio tab.

    Student Cooking Contest (4-6 grades) - December 8 recipe deadline

    Each year, the Snohomish School District holds the Kids in the Kitchen/Junior Chef Competition, which is sponsored by the Food Services Department. District 4th - 6th grade students are invited to submit recipes for their favorite after-school snacks. The recipes, which must be submitted by Friday, December 8, do not have to be original. They can be family recipes or from cookbooks, the internet, etc. For more information about this annual district student cooking event, visit www.sno.wednet.edu/cookingcontest.     Central Emerson Elementary a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school for 2023-2024 school year

    We are pleased to announce that Central Emerson Elementary will be participating in the federal program Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) available to select schools as a part of the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program during the 2023-2024 school year.
