Dear Kids’ Café Friends:

On behalf of the Snohomish School District, I would like to thank you for your help with this year’s Kids’ Café Summer Meal Program. We truly could not have accomplished this without the support and assistance of our community volunteers. This summer, 220 volunteers (totaling more than 1,100 volunteer hours) joined us in our effort to feed children and families from our community.

This summer we served 7,302 breakfasts and 7,954 lunches (for a total of 15,256 meals) to young people from our community. Of the total meals:

• 1,338 were delivered at Snohomish High School
• 1,406 were delivered at Valley View Middle School
• 4,274 were delivered at our local Boys and Girls Club
• 1,528 were delivered at Snohomish Mobile Home Park
• 2,226 were delivered at Circle H Mobile Home Park
• 1,408 were delivered at Three Rivers Mobile Home Park
• 3,076 were delivered at the Snohomish Aquatic Center

Please note that the numbers noted above do not include the additional meals that were prepared and distributed as part of the district summer school programs. We truly could not have accomplished this without your support and assistance. Your help has allowed us to feed children who may have otherwise gone without. We hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we enjoyed working with each of you.
