  • Computer/laptop requests
    In order to better engage in learning while at home, it may be useful for Snohomish School District students to have a computer/laptop and internet access. If any student does not have access to a computer/laptop or an internet connection at home, please complete one of the form links below. A separate form will need to be completed for each student in a family. Please note that due to the district's limited number of devices, the district's priority for distribution is for students and families who do not have devices or access to the internet.

    Device distribution
    A number of students and families have reached out to us regarding their windows for device distribution. Below are timeframe distribution opportunities for pick-up. Feel free to come at any of the available times below, but please note there may be longer than expected wait times.

    Those who noted their student needed a computer/laptop will have the opportunity to check out devices at the following locations and times. Note (as of March 25, 2020): Wifi hotspots are on backorder and will not be available for pickup at the times noted below. When wifi hotspots are available students/families will be contacted directly. Computers/laptops should still be picked up at the times noted below.

    Please have your ID or your student’s school ID available when picking up your device. Students are able to check out computers/laptops. Please practice social distancing and be patient as we distribute devices. Laptop user agreements will be at the sites for students and families to sign before devices will be distributed.

    Pick up locations

    • If you attend Cascade View Elementary, Central Primary Center, Dutch Hill Elementary, Emerson Elementary, Machias Elementary, Riverview Elementary, Centennial Middle School, AIM High School or Snohomish High School:
      • Pick up your requested device at Snohomish High School (1316 Fifth Street in Snohomish) at the Main Office drop-off area.
    • If you attend Cathcart Elementary, Little Cedars Elementary, Seattle Hill Elementary, Totem Falls Elementary, Valley View Middle School or Glacier Peak High School:
      • Pick up your requested device at Glacier Peak High School (7401 144th Place SE in Snohomish) at the student drop-off outside the Gym/Commons.

    District device phone support
    We have a dedicated phone line for student/family computer/laptop support for district-issued devices. Students and families can call 360-563-3000 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for live technical support.

    Elementary passwords
    Elementary student passwords are the student’s ID (minus the 0).

    Middle and high school student passwords
    Middle and high school student passwords are set individually by students. Use the same passwords as would be used if using devices in our schools/buildings. If a password reset is still needed, please call 360-563-3000 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

    Canvas access
    Students should access their Canvas through HelloID and should click on the Canvas icon through that portal.

    MS Teams
    MS Teams is not readily available on Apple computers and devices. Students and families using MS Teams on an Apple computer or device will need to download the MS Teams app - a student has a district-issued device they are able to access MS Teams, but if they are using their parent’s/guardian's or their own Apple computer or device they need to download the app. After downloading the app, students can then sign in with their school email address.

    Skyward/Family Access - Message Center messages
    When teachers send messages to students and families in Skyward/Family Access through Message Center, messages appear to come from the email - If you hit reply to those emails, please know it should be redirected to the teacher’s individual email address.

    Unfortunately the auto email address looks to be an unchangeable setting in the system. We are continuing to look into this matter. We apologize for any inconvenience and confusion this is causing.
