Teachers

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate, with proper endorsement(s) in assigned area(s).
- Strong skills, background and extensive training in your area of endorsement.
- Demonstrated ability to connect with students, staff and community members in a mutually respectful, supportive and accessible manner.
- Knowledge of and/or experience related to the state mandated testing and assessment.

Support Staff
Support staff include a variety of roles in Snohomish School District. They work in schools and in our district office to keep things running and to provide strong support. Support staff are assigned to a specific role, including administrative assistant, executive administrative assistant, and network technicians, district office supervisors and staff.
Support staff positions range from 180-day (school year) to 260-day (annual) contracts. Staff are eligible for benefits if they are contacted for 630 or more hours per year.

Paraeducators
Paraeducators perform a variety of tasks. This position works closely with teachers and other staff members as part of a team in supporting student learning. Paraeducators provide instructional and/or non-interactional activities to help students who need extra support. They often work one-on-one with students inside and outside the classroom.
Paraeducators are assigned to a specific role. These include:

Facilities
Snohomish School District serves approximately 9,500 students who attend our 16 schools. Join our facilities team to help ensure every student has a safe and supportive environment to learn.

Bus Drivers
Be one of the first faces our students see every day! We are recruiting bus drivers to provide safe and reliable transportation for our students and to help us meet critical transportation needs to and from school as well as provide opportunities for field trips and other educational programs. As a substitute driver you are eligible to apply for a permanent position. We hire permanent drivers from the substitute pool.

Minimum qualifications
Candidates need a minimum of five years of driving experience, an excellent driving record and must be able to pass Department of Transportation physical, alcohol and drug tests, and pass FBI and Washington State Patrol background checks.
Training
Snohomish School district provides free training. Upon completion of the training, you will have a class B Commercial drivers license with a passenger endorsement and school bus driver endorsement and school bus driver authorization.
