The Snohomish School District is located in Snohomish County in the State of Washington. We are nestled in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, a short drive from either the blue waters of the Puget Sound or the snow-capped Cascade Mountains. Located only 30 miles north of Seattle, Snohomish is a charming semi-rural community with easy access to the cultural and entertainment events of the greater Seattle area.

The district serves about 9,800 students in kindergarten through grade 12 within an area that encompasses 165 square miles and more than 30,000 residents. The Snohomish School District has an outstanding staff of full and part-time employees. This includes about 575 teaching staff (certificated) and about 460 classified staff. Our teachers have an average of 15 years’ experience; 67% have at least a Master’s degree. The district has three high schools, two middle schools, 10 elementary schools, a preschool, an alternative learning program for students and a cooperative program for home-school families.
