Payroll & Benefits
Welcome to Payroll & Benefits
The Payroll and Benefits Department is responsible for insuring that all district employees are paid and for managing all employee benefits. This office also processes W-2 forms, payroll deductions and collects dues for unions in the district. Payroll and Benefits is part of the Human Services Department and is available year round, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Payroll and Benefits is the only department that will provide verification of employment.
1095 Information
As required by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Form 1095-C will be available to all full-time employees as proof of the health coverage the district offered our employees and their family. Only one form is provided for all the individuals listed on the employee’s policy; employees may need to provide copies to their spouse or dependents, as necessary.
There has been an important change regarding the distribution of Form 1095-C. Following the recent signing of the Paperwork Burden Reduction Act by President Biden, employers are no longer required to automatically mail these forms to employees' homes.
These forms will be available for our employees to view and print through Skyward Employee Access no later than March 3, 2025, though our intent is to make these forms available as soon as administratively possible. This new process reduces unnecessary paperwork while ensuring that you can still access the form when needed. Printed 1095-C forms will only be provided upon written request to the Payroll Department.
