Traffic Safety

  • For many years, the Snohomish School District has been able to offer a Traffic Safety Education (Driver’s Ed) Program administered by Northwest Educational Service District (NWESD). Unfortunately, due to lack of staff, the NWESD has notified our district that it will not be able to run a traffic safety/driver’s education program on our school campuses in 2020-2021. We are aware of a number of private traffic safety/driver’s education programs in our community. Those include 911 Driving School, Defensive Driving School, Safe2Go Driving School, Swerve Driving School and Xcelerate Driving School … to name a few.

For those students who have gone through the NWESD’s Traffic Safety Education Program and have not completed their state testing, the NWESD has indicated it will follow through with that testing process and will be on contact with students/families directly.
