Welcome to Facility Use & Rentals
Our facilities are available for community use when such use is not in conflict with school operations and in accordance with board policies. Gyms, cafeterias, fields, conference rooms, libraries and performing arts centers are all available for community use at nominal fees to cover costs. Fees are charged on a scale depending on the specific facility and the renter. The lowest fees are charged for non-profit organizations sponsoring activities for children and youth.
All school-related activities shall be given priority in the use of facilities and grounds. Thereafter, the use shall be based on availability of facilities. The calendar will open to community organizations at the start of our fiscal year on September 1. Please note that all district facilities and grounds are closed on district observed holidays. Requests that fall upon a district holiday or district event will be denied. For a list of district holidays and events please click here.
Facility Reservation Process
We use an online calendar, that allows the public to see a majority of events, however, some events are not listed, and dates may be held for school related events and tournaments. Open times on the calendar do not guarantee availability or approval.
The first step is to check the calendar to see if there could be a conflicting event on your requested date. If it looks like your date is available, submit a request for a building, field, or performing arts center. All applications must be received at the district at least 10 business days in advance of the requested date. Patrons are not permitted to enter the facility prior to the agreed start time. If you require additional time to setup and breakdown your event, your request shall include that time in your application request. For non-profit organizations, please submit a copy of your 501C3 Letter of Approval in order to receive the non-profit rate.
The district cannot guarantee approval on all submitted application requests. All requests are based on availability. Gym and field use are scheduled seasonally for all groups.
Once we receive your application we will then check to make sure all paperwork has been collected and completed. The application is first reviewed by the district to ensure that the event matches our district’s vision. Then it will be determined if the facilities that are requested are available, the request will then be routed to the proper staff for approval prior to the requested date. Then it goes through a final approval and is activated on the calendar. Rentals often require custodial services and are subject to additional fees.
You must have final approval and an activated facility use permit from the district prior to the scheduled event. It is the responsibility of the user group to confirm approval prior to use.
