Elementary School Meet-the-Teacher Events

Cascade View Elementary
The school’s meet the teacher event will be held on Thursday, August 28. Students will be able to meet their teachers, locate their classrooms and put away their school supplies. The Cascade View PTA will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on how you can be involved at the school.

Cathcart Elementary
Meet the Teacher will be held in classrooms on Thursday, August 28, from 2-2:30 p.m. The Cathcart parent/guardian organization will have a popsicle social and open recess on the playground from 2:30-3:00 p.m. This is a fun time for kids to connect and play!

Cathcart’s Business Day will be held Thursday, August 21, from 9-11 am, 1-2 pm, and 6-6:30 pm. During this time parents can complete beginning of the year paperwork including updating emergency contacts/health records, connect with our Cathcart Parent Organization (CPO), and learn about different volunteering opportunities.

Central Emerson Elementary
Please join us for our school’s meet-the-teacher event on Thursday, August 28. Families will be divided into two sessions to help with parking.

  • Last names A-L: 4-4:50 p.m.
  • Last names M-Z: 5:10-6 p.m.

Students are welcome to bring their school supplies, so they will be in their classroom and ready for the first day of school. Medications can be dropped off at the office. The Central Emerson Community (CEC) parent/guardian group will also be on hand with information about ways to get involved this year and provide a special treat! 

Dutch Hill Elementary
The meet-the-teacher open house will be held on Thursday, August 28:

  • Last names A-L: 4-4:45 p.m.
  • Last names M-Z: 5:15-6 p.m.

Students are welcome to bring their school supplies, so they will be in their classroom and ready for the first day of school. Dutch Hill Elementary PTA will be on hand with information about ways to get involved this year.

Little Cedars Elementary
The school’s meet the teacher event will be held on Thursday, August 28. By last name:

  • Last names A-H: 4-4:30 p.m.
  • Last names I-P: 4:40-5:10 p.m.
  • Last names Q-Z: 5:20-5:50 p.m. 

Little Cedars Elementary will also provide an opportunity for families to visit Little Cedars to see their child’s classroom and drop off supplies if they are unable to attend during the day. Little Cedars PTA will be on hand with information about ways to get involved this year!

Machias Elementary
The school’s “Meet the Teacher” event will be held on Thursday, August 28, by last name due to the size of our school:

  • Last names A-H: 1:25-1:55 p.m.
  • Vehicle transition: 1:55-2:05 p.m.
  • Last names I-Q: 2:05-2:35 p.m.
  • Vehicle transition: 2:35-2:45 p.m.
  • Last names R-Z: 2:45-3:15 p.m.

Students are welcome to bring their school supplies, so they will be in their classroom and ready for the first day of school. Machias Parent Teacher Group (PTG) will be on hand with information about ways to get involved this year.

Parent Partnership Program (PPP)
PPP staff will meet with parents/guardians to create student learning plans September 3-5. Classes will begin the week of Monday, September 8.

Riverview Elementary
Join us! Meet Riverview teachers and staff, put lunch money in your account, drop off medication, reconnect with friends and more. Riverview Elementary will host its meet-the- teacher event on Thursday, August 28. Families will be divided into two sessions to minimize the crowded parking situation.

  • Last names A-L: 4-4:50 p.m.
  • Last names M-Z: 5:10-6 p.m.
  • Families with multiple last names may choose one of the sessions that works best.

Seattle Hill Elementary
Join us! Meet teachers and staff, bring in supplies, drop off medication, reconnect with friends and more. Seattle Hill Elementary will host its Meet the Teacher event on Thursday, August 28. Students will be able to meet their teachers, locate their classrooms, and put away their school supplies. Our PTO will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on how you can get involved this year!

Totem Falls Elementary
Please join us for our school’s meet-the-teacher event on Thursday, August 28. Students get a chance to meet their teachers outside the building and grab a popsicle. Students and their families are invited to come at the following times:

  • Grades 1-6 – 2:30-3:15 p.m. 
  • Kindergarten – 6-6:30 p.m.
