Citizens' Facility Advisory Committee (CFAC)
The Citizens' Facility Advisory Committee (CFAC) is a community-based work group whose goal is to recommend to the Snohomish School Board a potential capital improvement initiative.
To achieve the goal, the following activities need to be completed:
- Review the physical conditions of the district facilities,
- Evaluate the physical conditions for adequacy and longevity of district operation,
- Review district demographic and student growth projections,
- Review the previous CFAC recommendations,
- Study current and future instructional and educational models,
- Prioritize facility needs and,
- Update the Board of Directors on a regular basis as determined by the Board of Directors.
General commitment/member requirements:
- A member of the CFAC commits to attend regular meetings.
- A CFAC member commits to a minimum one-year participation.
- A CFAC member commits to complete the scope and charge of the CFAC as defined by the Board of Directors.
- A CFAC member lives in the Snohomish School District.

Interested in being a part of CFAC?
You may nominate yourself or another individual. If you plan to nominate someone else, please speak with them first to confirm their interest before submitting the nomination. Please complete the nomination form for either yourself or the person you are nominating. Forms may be submitted online, printed and mailed, or dropped off in person.
Mailing address: Snohomish School District, Attn: Dr. Kent Kultgen, Superintendent, 1601 Avenue D, Snohomish, WA 98290. Forms may also be dropped off at the Resource and Service Center (1601 Avenue D, Snohomish).
The district will contact all nominees to confirm their interest prior to consideration. Nominations are due Friday, April 17. Submissions will be reviewed and final CFAC membership selections will be made by Thursday, April 30. All nominees will be notified once the selection process is complete.
