New Student Registration

New student enrollment and registration now available online

The Snohomish School District has an online process to enroll and register new students to the district and incoming kindergarten students. This process is only for incoming kindergartners and new students to the district, not students transferring to another school within the district. Prior to using the online application process, families are advised to have the required documents available to upload to the application. You may save as you go and do not have to complete it all in one sitting. The completed application, once submitted online, will be available to the school for approval. Submitted applications will not be approved until all required documents are received by the school.

Variance/Choice Transfers
The Snohomish School District is currently reviewing variance/Choice Transfer requests for those families interested in their child(ren) attending a school that is not their neighborhood school for the 2024-2025 school year. If a family wishes for their child(ren) to attend a Snohomish School District school that does not serve the area of his/her residence, parents/guardians must request a variance. Variances are granted for one full school year, or until the end of the current school year. Families wishing to remain at their non-residential school must remember to apply for a variance each year.

Unsure of which school your child will attend? Use our SchoolSite Locator Service. Enter an address and the list of schools for that particular address will pop up. There is also an option to select language at top of screen. Or, call our Transportation Department at 360-563-3525.

If a student in the district wants to attend a school outside their neighborhood attendance boundary, a request for a variance/Choice Transfer must be submitted for consideration each year.

Grade level
Students are automatically placed in their grade level based on their date of birth.
