2026 Summer Internship Opportunities
The Snohomish School District Career and Technical Education (CTE) department is partnering with local businesses to offer summer internships that give students the opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world careers.
Program Overview
- Open to: Snohomish School District high school students
- Length of internship: 60 hours total
- Start date: Week of June 29, 2026
- Flexible schedule: Designed so students can participate while still working a summer job
- Partnerships: Internships hosted by local businesses and industry partners

Are you a local business/organization interested in providing an internship for local students?
Internship Partners and Application Packets
Rising sophomores and juniors who are at least 16 years old may apply. Interns will complete 60 hours of experience beginning the week of June 29.
This year’s host sites include:
- The Goddard School – Early childhood education
- John L. Scott Real Estate – Residential real estate and marketing
- North Sound Media (KXA/KRKO and Everett Post) – Broadcasting, journalism, marketing
- The Serviss Group – Commercial real estate
- Snohomish Farmers Market PoP Club – Children's education and programming
- Red Trux Podcasts – Audio creation and production
- Windermere Real Estate – Residential real estate and marketing
- Historic Downtown Snohomish Association – Marketing, photography, journalism
- Snohomish Film – Video production, content creation
- Snohomish Food Bank – Digital marketing, non-profit work
Application packets and internship descriptions are available below or through your school’s counseling office and college and career center. Students under 18 must return the signed parent/guardian permission form to their counseling office. Selected applicants will be contacted after spring break to schedule interviews.
Application Process
- Fill out the application for the internship that you are interested in (the links at the bottom of the second page).
- If the student is under 18-years-old, a parents/guardian signature is required.
- After spring break, candidates that are selected to be interviewed will be notified by phone and invited to interview for the position by the internship host from the business and the internship supervisor from the school district (Brian Burdon, Career and Technical Education Director, Snohomish School District).
Application packets: Due by Friday, April 17
2026 Summer Internship Timeline
- Week of March 16 – Summer internship applications are open
- April 17 – Applications for internships close
- April 27 – Internship interviews begin
- 2nd week of June – Pre-internship meeting at the business (specific time and place TBD)
- Week of June 29 - July 6 – Internships begin (except Snohomish Farmers Market)
- August 7 – Internships end (except Snohomish Farmers Market)
