Winter Sports Parent Meeting - Tuesday, November 26 - 6:30 pm - GP Commons
All parents/guardians of winter sport athletes should plan on attending this meeting. The evening will start in the Commons with all parents, followed by breakout meetings with individual sports. The large group meeting will review requirements and expectations common to all of our athletic programs. The breakout meetings will be an opportunity for you to meet coaches, learn about individual program expectations and requirements as well as learn ways to be involved in your athlete's program.
Winter Sports Clearance
All athletes must be cleared by the Athletic Office prior to participating in sports (being compliant on Rank One does not clear an athlete for participation). Paperwork completed for Spring/Summer and Fall activities are good for the 2019-2020 school year as long as each specific sport that the athlete will be trying out for was marked off on the Eligibility Form. Physicals must be valid through February 22, 2020 for wrestling and boys swim and March 7, 2020 for basketball.
Detailed requirements for clearance may be found using the link on the right - "Sports Sign Up Information."
The Athletic Office will begin clearance checks for winter sports the first week of November. However, Rank One paperwork may be completed at any time. Please allow one school day to process paperwork. To be eligible to tryout/practice on November 18, all paperwork must be submitted and the athlete cleared by Friday, November 15.
