Description
Save the Date! - Parent/Community Conversations
- Monday, May 22 at Valley View Middle School, or
- Tuesday, May 23 at Centennial Middle School
- 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria
The Snohomish School District has been gathering feedback this spring through an online conversation tool called ThoughtExchange, as well as through a series of community meetings where we will dig into what we heard and update our strategic priorities. The dates, times and locations of those meetings are noted above.
Our schools have made incredible strides these last 10-15 years. We are part of a vibrant community that is growing and changing, and we want to know what's most important to you now about education in Snohomish. What is special about our community and kids? (What are the strengths we can celebrate and lean on?) What do you wish were different? (What could we do to better support student success?) What are your priorities for how we invest our educational resources?
We are going to explore those questions together in a series of meetings with parents, staff, students, and community members. Together, we will identify priorities for school leaders to use as they set goals and develop budgets in the years ahead.
Beverages and light snacks will be provided. We will follow the same agenda both nights; please choose the meeting that works best for you, mark your calendar, and plan to join us!
