The Snohomish Aquatic Center Piranhas are a part of this year's Craze Summer Swim League. Being a part of this league provides athletes with the opportunity to compete in four short, fun swim meets (meet participation is not required). The team will practice Mondays through Fridays from 9-10 a.m. and from 10-11 a.m. for a seven-week season. Head Coach, Grace Barr, has put together a great coaching staff, who are very excited about the season!

The main objective of the Craze Summer Swim League is to provide a safe, recreational and competitive experience for area swimmers between the ages of 6 to 18 (participant age as of July 1, 2024). Participating teams include the cities of Snohomish, Kirkland, Lynnwood, Edmonds (Yost), and Mountlake Terrace. The 2024 season officially begins June 27 and is scheduled to end August 12.

Prerequisites:

• New participants ages 6-8 must be able to swim 25 yards of crawl stroke with side breathing and 25 yards of backstroke prior to the first day of practice.
• Those ages 9 and older must be able to swim 50 yards each of crawl stroke and backstroke, and 25 yards of breaststroke kick prior to the first day of practice.

• Saturday, July 13 - Mountlake Terrace at Snohomish
• Saturday, July 20 - Snohomish at Edmonds
• Saturday, July 27- Kirkland at Snohomish
• Saturday, August 10 - League invite at Snohomish

Pricing (per person):

• $250 1st family member
• $240 each additional family member

Registration:

• Registration begins Tuesday, April 23! Click here for registration.
• Registration fee includes five practices each week for the duration of the seven-week season, as well as a swim cap and a t-shirt. Team suits are available at an additional charge. Registration also entitles athletes to participate in all scheduled Craze Summer Swim League swim meets (with coach approval--athletes are responsible for their own transportation to/from meets and practices).

Parent information meeting:

• A parent information meeting will be held over Zoom the evening of Tuesday, June 25. Our head coach will provide detailed information prior to the first day of practice.
