Incoming high school freshmen parent information nights
Glacier Peak High School
- Tuesday, February 19 at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium - Incoming Freshman Parent Information Night - Parents/guardians of incoming freshmen, please join Glacier Peak High School on Tuesday, February 19, at 7 p.m. in the Glacier Peak High School Auditorium for Incoming Freshman Parent Information Night. This evening is for parents only to learn about important information regarding Core 24 and new graduation requirements. There will also be question and answer opportunities.
- Thursday, February 21 at 6 p.m. in the Commons - Preview the Peak - Incoming freshmen students and parents/guardians, please join Glacier Peak High School on Thursday, February 21, at 6 p.m. in the Glacier Peak High School Commons/Cafeteria for Preview the Peak. Visit booths set up for academics, take a self-guided tour of the campus, meet our administrators, counselors, teachers, athletic director, more. Opportunities for question and answer and enjoy previewing all things Glacier Peak High School!
Snohomish High School
- Tuesday, March 5 at 5:45 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center — Information on Dual Enrollment Programs - Dual Enrollment programs are opportunities for high school students to earn both high school and college credit in the same course. These programs include Advanced Placement, College in the High School, Running Start and Tech Prep. Attending this information session is important for all students and parents who are interested in enrolling in any of these programs for the next school year. The presentation will last about 40 minutes and there will be a follow-up session with more details about Running Start after the general session.
- Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center —Incoming Freshman Orientation Night - If you, or a friend, has a current 8th grader who will be a freshman at Snohomish High School next year, please plan to come to Freshman Orientation Night. Parents will meet in the Performing Arts Center for an information session. Incoming freshmen will meet in the Auxiliary Gym for a mini-assembly designed to introduce the newest Panthers to the culture and opportunities at Snohomish High School. Following these separate meetings, parents and students will come together in the Main Gym for a curriculum fair.
