This year’s Kids’ Café Summer Meal Program was a tremendous success! We served 4,431 breakfasts and 10,572 lunches (for a total of 15,003 meals) to young people from our community. Of the total meals:
This year’s Kids’ Café Summer Meal Program was a tremendous success! We served 4,431 breakfasts and 10,572 lunches (for a total of 15,003 meals) to young people from our community. Of the total meals:- 6,260 were served at Snohomish High School
- 5,156 were delivered at our local Boys and Girls Club
- 1,327 were delivered at Circle H Mobile Home Park
- 910 were delivered at Three Rivers Mobile Home Park
- 1,350 were delivered at the Snohomish Aquatic Center
Please note that the numbers noted above do not include the additional meals that were prepared and distributed as part of the district summer school programs. We truly could not have accomplished this without the support and assistance of our community volunteers.
This summer, 242 volunteers (totaling more than 1,300 volunteer hours) joined us in our effort to feed children and families from our community. Their help allowed us to feed children who may have otherwise gone without. Thank you, Snohomish!
