The primary intent of the program is to provide a positive experience, opportunity and training to young men and women interested in pursuing a career in the fire service. Criteria: Minimum of 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, have a valid Washington State drivers license, have an acceptable and insurable driving record, have proper documents to be employable in the USA, pass a post acceptance physical and drug screen, pass an entrance level written and physical agility test, be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Contact Recruit and Retention Coordinator at 509-787-2713 for more information.
