Young chefs prepare favorite after-school snacks at annual competition

8 students at the kids in the kitchen contestDistrict 4th-6th grade students prepared their favorite after-school snacks on March 8 as part of the annual Kids in the Kitchen/Junior Chef Competition, sponsored by the district’s Food Service Dept. District finalists prepared their creations for a panel of judges who selected the grand prize winners.
